2009 - Gingerbread Houses : Every Christmas season, we try to invite a couple of families over for our annual Gingerbread House festivities - hoping to perhaps spark a new tradition of their own for our guests. This year we had a great time with our friends - the Riad family and the Jennings family...plus Joey's special guest, Colleen.

2009 - Thanksgiving : Thanksgiving this year was celebrated at three different locations. An early event with my Aunt Lissa and her family in Elk Grove. A Thanksgiving feast at our house with my side of the family. And dessert and festivities with Sara's side of the family that night.

2009 - Independence Day Parade : The Villages community celebrates Independence Day with a local parade of vintage cars and decked out golf carts. So, we join Sara's parents, along with Tim, Carter & Mackenize, for this annual tradition. Next year, i think we need to take more photos of the cars and carts as well ;)

2008 - Thanksgiving : Thanksgiving dinner was spent at Sara's parents house. After dinner, this year's charitable activity was to make cuddly blankets for newly fostered children - pictured herein by our bevy of lovely models. This set also includes the annual Thanksgiving Hat Picture tradition, see if you can find it.

2008 - July 4th Fireworks : The 7th annual "Spirit of America" 4th of July Celebration event happened at Church on the Hill in San Jose, which is a short walk from our home. Sara, Joey, and I had a great time. I took photos of fireworks for the first time.

2006 - Gingerbread Houses : Dec 17, 2006: We hosted our first gingerbread house decorating party with some of Sara's team members and their families. It was the first time making and decorating gingerbread houses for almost everyone involved. We had a great time.
